Alice Dress Pattern Test

Alice is an A-Line midaxi length dress with ruched bust cups that are spaced apart leaving a cute peek-a-boo gap. The cups are secured with criss cross straps that could be made from your own fabric or a contrast cord. The pattern comes with the option to make with oversized sleeves which feature arm ties.

Skill Level
The most complex techniques of this pattern are an invisible zip and bound armholes. Whatever your skill level, if you feel you can manage this (or fancy a go), please apply!

Requirements for Testers
I only have two requirements for the test:
1. You will need to complete the make and submit your feedback by 30th November 2024
2. Be able to join a Discord group chat. I tried to do email + Discord for the last test and Discord was so much more productive and meant that I could quickly see consistent problems
3. If for some reason you are unable to complete the test or you’re running behind, please can you just let me know. Life happens, it’s cool and I won’t hold it against you. Please don’t just disappear into thin air!

Below is the size guide and fabric requirements. Please note the size guide is body measurements. I am working on some finished garment measurements to add to this. If you’re really unsure where you might fit, shoot me an email or DM me on Instagram.

Why is my size range so small?

I really want to make this more size inclusive but want to make sure the fit is perfect on size 16 & 18 before I do a second size range. If you are out of my size range but keen to try this style, please still send me your details and we can sort something out!
